Our Team
Jason Vitti
Jason Vitti is the founder and lead facilitator of Partners for Community Engagement. Jason founded PCE to create a space for participants to form community and to engage in social opportunities that were fun, inclusive and participant-led. Jason uses a person-centered approach to understand every individual’s unique needs and promotes personal growth while fostering respect and dignity. In addition to being the founder of PCE, he is a special educator with over 20 years of experience working with students with special needs and their families. Jason holds a master’s degree in transition in special education from the University of Kansas and is currently a transition specialist in a high school in Northern Virginia
Sara Vitti
Sara has worked in education for several years with experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and social-emotional needs. In addition to being a classroom teacher, Sara has been a special events and Day Trippers summer program facilitator. Sara knows the importance of using a social-emotional approach when working with individuals with special needs and their families. Sara is committed to making PCE a fun and inclusive environment for participants and utilizes her experience modeling and teaching social skills to help participants have positive interactions with each other and their communities.
Sara and Jason have two children with special needs and have used their experience to understand the needs of families of individuals with disabilities and know the importance of trust between parent and provider. Both hold trust and integrity at the core of PCE.
Larry Vola
Larry Vola is a new addition to our team. He is currently a junior at the University of Maryland and has recently begun working in the field of special needs. Larry is a former wrestler for UMD who provides academic support and mentorship to fellow athletes through the university. Larry enjoys working out, listening to music and playing pool as well as connecting with people and having as positive impact in the lives of others. PCE couldn’t be more excited to have him supporting our participants and bringing his positive energy and attitude to our social/recreational programming!
