Based on the success of our inagural year, in 2025 we are offering four week-long summer programs for transition-aged youth and young adults seeking exciting adventures and opportunities to experience the rich cutural, artistic and natural heritage of our Nation’s Capital region.
Discover Historic Sites and Natural Wonders
Embark on thrilling day trips to iconic destinations like Harpers Ferry, Gettysburg, and Baltimore. Immerse yourself in hands-on history, explore stunning landscapes, and expand your perspectives discovering new art and seeing the world through the lens of another culture.
Fun and Enriching Activities
Engage in a variety of age-appropriate activities that will create lasting memories. As a Day Tripper you will get an immersive experience in everything from outdoor adventures to culturally and historically significant destinations and landmarks in and around the Nation’s capital Day Trippers offers something for everyone.
Build Community and Make Friends
As a participant in the PCE Day Trippers program, you will get to connect with peers who share your interests and create friendships through memorable shared experiences. Our program fosters a supportive and inclusive environment where you can have fun, learn, and grow.
