At Partners for Community Engagement, we believe that individuals with disabilities should have access to inclusive, meaningful and engaging experiences that promote greater exposure to the wider community.
Through a variety of social and recreational opportunities and events, we aim to create a welcoming and inclusive space where people can come together, share experiences, and build a stronger sense of belonging.
Partners for Community Engagement is a service provider in Montgomery County, MD dedicated to providing engaging social events and activities to adults with low-intensity support needs in the wider community. We believe that participation in meaningful and fun experiences offers individuals the opportunity to build community, form and strengthen relationships and further enrich their lives. Since 2021, we have worked towards achieving our vision of developing programming that has a positive impact on our participants and their families. We hope you will come and connect with us!
Who We Are
Offering Opportunities
Partners for Community Engagement (PCE) provides fun, unique, participant-led social meet-up opportunities and special events that foster connection and community building. Our coordinated and facilitated experiences encourage participants to engage socially in their community and build a supportive social network with one another. PCE participants build strong relationships through shared experiences in activities that are organic and enjoyable. Since PCE’s founding in 2021, participants have been the primary stakeholders in defining the culture of PCE. We are a person-centered, participant-directed provider that prides itself on being responsive to the individuals we serve.
Engaging in Community
PCE hosts regular, twice weekly dinner meet-up groups. Participants enjoy going out and having a fun time with friends. These meet-ups are relaxed and enjoyable. In addition to the meet-up groups, we also offer monthly special events, seasonal programs and mini-getaways. to give our participants opportunities to experience their community in unique ways. If you are interested in joining us for any of our programs, please submit a participant interest form. Once we receive your submission PCE will meet virtually with individuals and their families to help us better understand the participant’s needs and to answer any questions.
